ESL One Katowice 2019 League Information

ESL One returns to Katowice this year where the main event will be held on the 19th to 24th of February. Twelve teams will compete for a piece of the USD$300,000 prize pool. These twelve teams consist of eight invites and one team from each regional qualifier in Europe, North America, China, and Southeast Asia. Some have declared this to be one of the best match ups in ESL history.

Prize Pool

The prize pool will be distributed as follows:

  • First placers will receive USD$125,000 while the second placers USD$65,000.
  • Prize money of USD$35,000 will go to the third placers and USD$20,000 to the fourth placers.
  • Placing 5-6th will garner USD$12,000 and 7-8th a prize of USD$7,500.
  • USD$5,000 and USD$3,000 will be given to the 9-10th and 11-12th placers, respectively.

  • Forward Gaming,
  • Gambit Esports,
  • For The Dream,
  • Team Secret,
  • OG, Fnatic,
  • Team Aster,
  • compLexity,
  • TNC Predator.

In the Group Stage, the teams will be split into two groups of six and will play in a best of two round-robin dynamics. The bottom teams will be eliminated. In the Playoffs, the grand finals will be played in a best of five series, and the players are determined by double elimination.
